Occasionally I am asked by a client if I know anyone who may be able to adopt a much loved pet from an owner who has no choice but to find a new home for them. 

 

The animal shelters do a fantastic job but sometimes there's so many to choose from that it is hard to make a decision. With my past experience of working in such shelters it seems to be the younger animals are adopted first and very often the older animals get overlooked. They can spend long periods of time without the comfort of a home and a loving family to take care of them.

 

An older pet has so much to offer and can make the perfect companion for someone looking for an easy quiet life with a pet that is just happy to have a warm bed, food, water and the occasional cuddle. Their is no better feeling than to give an older pet a loving and secure home for them to spend the rest of their life in comfort.

 

 

 

Hello, my name is Jaxson.  I am looking for a new home with a loving family who will love me and take very good care of me.

 

I am (as you can see) a very handsome  brindle staffy boy. I was born May 2005 so that makes me 6yrs old (in human years) I am also desexed and microchipped. 

 

I am very affectionate and love cuddles, I also love to play and my favorate thing is long walks which I am very good at. I love all people and I am good with children (but I am a very strong boy and sometimes don't know my own strenght) The only thing is I am not too good with other dogs so would need a home on my own with an active family.

 

I like to sleep indoors at night if possible and I have a new huge comfy cushion to sleep on, but love being outside during the day so long as I have shelter. I don't mind a short drive in the car if we are going somewhere great.

 

I am a good eater and like raw food like mince, chicken necks and wings and sometimes a little dry food. The occasional treat is also very welcome.
